Dear Sirs,
on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM, the EPP production operation
will be restarted. Restarting will only take effect on your side by
ending open sessions, which can be re-established immediately.
The reason is the deployment of new versions of schemas, version 2.4.2.
These schemas will include adding new contact states for the RegeID
project and adding an optional `authinfo` parameter for info_contact.
All changes in the schemes are backward compatible, so nothing needs to
be done on your part, your operation will continue to run without
changes even if you continue to use the existing schemes.
Nevertheless, we recommend that you upgrade to the new version as soon
as possible. With the changes related to the RegeID project, which will
be deployed before the end of the year, it may not be possible in some
specific cases to make changes to contacts for which you are the
designated registrar but these contacts will also be connected to EU eID.
At the same time, it is possible to gradually switch to these schemes
according to your needs, possibilities and readiness, so that the
activation of the changes announced for February 2022 (see previous
emails) will proceed as smoothly as possible.
