You need an external program that creates the dnstap socket and listens
for connections on it. It's exactly like syslog.
There is a more detailed explanation here:
The AF_UNIX connection handling is performed by an external library,
libfstrm, which attempts to (re-)connect to the output socket
asynchronously, so that the DNS server doesn't block at startup. It
doesn't currently have a way to pass connection error messages back to
the application (the DNS server, in this case) for logging purposes.
