You are absolutely right and I am sorry for wasting your time on this
non-issue.
I reread the resolve.c source code with what you said in mind, and I
finally came to see how it actually works.
I suppose one's eyes refuse to see something, even if it is written in
the source code, if they are convinced otherwise by mistake. Sorry about
that and thank you for your kind answer.
I hope not to be as wrong in my other report about the
kr_zonecut_find_cached issue. I can send you in private a domain name
that illustrates the issue.
