Hi Paulos,
apparently they all managed to resolve almost all issues without our
intervention. I'm not sure what do you mean by backend FRED
installation. Current installation guide simply installs all FRED
components.
We are working on new installation guide, because current installation
guide doesn't reflect recent changes. For example, new versions of RDAP
and WebWhois is only installable via Docker images. We don't provide
binary packages for these new versions, so current installation guide
is installing older versions. I hope this new installation guide will
be generally available in couple weeks.

Making such a separation would make installing FRED more "friendly"
than is the case now since it will help avoid new FRED users getting
stuck on errors they see on the backend even though they do not need
the backend yet.
So, would it be possible for FRED developers to separate backend FRED
installation from normal FRED installation to avoid these confusions
for new FRED users ?
