I changed zonedir in genzone.conf like this: [0.2.4.e164.arpa] chunk = 3 maxchanges= 30 backupdir = /var/0.2.4.e164.arpa #zonedir = /etc/bind zonedir = /var/named [cz] chunk = 100 maxchanges= 10% backupdir = /var/cz #zonedir = /etc/bind zonedir = /var/named then i runned genzone-client like this: [root@fred fred]# fred-admin genzone-client but still there are no domain names in Bind. What am i misunderstanding or missing ? FRED work ends with generation of zone file. What to do with that zone file is up to zone administrators (up to you). For example we generate zone file to the place as specified in Bind configuration files. This way, after zone generation we just restart bind and new zone is uploaded.
