Thanks Georg.
aside from what I had posted earlier, I only need to run (to enable
any .net name server):
# fred-admin --zone_add --zone_fqdn=net --ex_period_min=12
--ex_period_max=120 --ttl=86400 --hostmaster=hostmaster(a)mydomain.my
--refresh=1800 --update_retr=1800 --expiry=604800 --minimum=86400
# genzone_client
and that is that.
Actualy i think genzone client needs some params, especially being
pointed towards genzone.conf. example taken from fred default crontab entry:
export ROOT=/your/fred/path/
$ROOT/bin/genzone_client -v -z $ROOT/nofred/named -f
$ROOT/etc/fred/genzone.conf -g $ROOT/nofred/named/named_zones.conf -o
Aswell in theory you can get away with adding the zones without any
params ( because actualy you are not going to create zone files from
them so you dont need data for SOA record).
I have attached little bash "script" for adding all zones(it is most
likely missing some tlds/cctlds).
