Syntax for handles is weak - regex [a-zA-Z0-9_:.-]{1,63}
Bryton is right - zone must be configured before using it. Commands are:

Did you add the zones in the zone table? Did the
registrar
given(allowed) to create the domain the zone you are creating?

I am new to FRED, i've followed the guide on the LiveCD webpage where
it says to create a contact and a name server, which i've already
done, now i tried to create a domain but i get an error saying the
domain name isn;t applicable after keying in domain names such as
homer.com and etc...
What should I be putting as the domain name and as the registrant ID
the details ive done so far are shown below
COntact ID - Homer
Name - Jay
NSSETID - Homer
ListofDNSNameserver - ns.enum1.com
Technical Contact - Homer
Kinda urgent, my project is due in 2 weeks - any help is much
appreciated
