Jaromir,
I am having a FRED source install problem installing fred-pyfred on
FEDORA8 as you can see here below, it is asking for omniORB.
I have downloaded omniORG and I have tried to build it with
# ../configure CXX=/usr/bin/c++ PYTHON=/usr/bin/python
#make
#make install
but I still get the package not installed error shown here below.
Can you help?
I seem to have same trouble with dnspython and clearsilver. Is it
just paths that need to be set?
[root@ngoli omniORB-4.1.3]# cd ..
[root@ngoli fred-registry]# cd fred-pyfred-1.9.1
[root@ngoli fred-pyfred-1.9.1]# ls
build conf INSTALL misc pyfred scripts
setup.py unittests
ChangeLog freddist MANIFEST.in PKG-INFO README setup.cfg
tc_scripts
[root@ngoli fred-pyfred-1.9.1]# python ./setup.py config
Updating setup configuration file (setup.cfg).
running config
* Operating system ... linux2
* Python version ... 2.5.1
* Package omniORB with python bindings is required and not
installed!
omniORB is ORB implementation in C++
(
http://omniorb.sourceforge.net/)
* package pygresql version ... 3.8.1
* Package dnspython version ... 1.6.0
Versions newer than 1.5 of dnspython are not tested to work with
pyfred.
Use at your own risk.
* Package clearsilver with python bindings is required and not
installed!
clearsilver is template system (
http://www.clearsilver.net/).
One or more errors were detected. Please fix them and then run the
setup script again.
